  • What issues does psychotherapy deal with?
    Many people see a psychotherapist because they are experiencing discomfort, life transitions, dissatisfaction or suffering in their lives. Some come seeking further development. Psychotherapists work with people who have a wide range of presenting concerns: depression, anxiety, other mental health issues/diagnosis, sleeplessness, eating problems, illness, addiction, trauma, abuse, relationship difficulties in personal life or at work, communication, intimacy and commitment problems.
  • What Outcomes May Be Expected?
    Psychotherapy supports a process of change. A person may come to understand patterns of thinking and behaviours in their life. and from this deeper self understanding feel more able to make conscious choices that lead to a different experience of themselves and the world.
  • Modalities for Individual Therapy
    I follow best practice and evidence-based psychotherapy approaches including, but not limited to: Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Trauma-Informed Practices, CBT-E, Person-Centred Psychotherapy, Attachment Theory Family-Based Therapy MANTRA SSCM I continue to expand my therapeutic capacity by continued study, training and professional supervision.
